Xin Chao! (Hello in Vietnamese!)
I'm Moca, the Ho Chi Minh City correspondent for Star Kitchen (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑.
I've been living here for over 10 years♡
I'll be introducing everything from trendy, fashionable spots to local food stalls! ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
Today, I'm going to introduce a family-friendly Vietnamese restaurant ( ’∀’人)♥+
This restaurant is located in District 2, a favorite among many housewives and tourists♪
District 2 is on the east side of Ho Chi Minh City, across the Saigon River from downtown. It's a well-known upscale residential area, home to many Westerners♡
Recommended Family-Friendly Vietnamese Restaurant
If you want to dine with your kids and feel at ease, we recommend this family-friendly Vietnamese restaurant in District 2!
The restaurant is in a quiet area, perfect for relaxing.
Here's what the outdoor seating looks like♡
Visiting during the dry season or in the evening feels especially nice (゚∀三゚三∀゚) ウホー!
The bar area has an amazing vibe ٩꒰。•◡•。꒱۶’
There’s even a swimming pool by the bar, and the view is beautiful♡
Indoor seating
There aren't many seats, so it’s a good idea to make a reservation! Especially if you have a large group, be sure to book in advance!
We recommend the seating near the entrance for families with young children (‧ω‧)
This spot is right next to the play area, and you can see your kids through the glass while enjoying your meal♡It’s really nice (。◕ ∀ ◕。)
Food…♡
Steamed Vegetables ♥*+
The vegetables can be dipped in a mildly spicy fish sauce♡
Healthy and delicious, this sauce pairs perfectly with a drink (。◕ ∀ ◕。)♡
Kho Quet Rau Luoc 105,000VND
Here’s a common Vietnamese dish served with rice paper☆
This is also eaten with fish sauce, and it’s very tasty♪
Met Cha gio Nem Nuong 145,000VND
This is just part of the menu(´-_ゝ-`)
Check out the menu here:
On this day, our group of three adults and one child ordered the dishes in the photos, plus fried rice and five drinks, for a total of 662,550 VND.
If you visit Ho Chi Minh City, both adults and kids will love this restaurant. Highly recommended♡
